ChemIndustrial cone bottom mix tanks liquefy, dissolve, suspend and mix granular materials. Heavy duty, high torque agitators are driven by electric motor/gear drive or gasoline engine/gear drive combos.

High torque agitators for heavy duty mixing

Robust, high torque gear drives give ChemIndustrial agitators the digging power to disperse heavy concentrates, powders and slurries through the water column -- without bogging down. Low rotational speed (60 RPM) provides low shear performance and more powerful mixing action than high speed propeller agitators. Solid 7/8" AISI 304 stainless steel shafts and formed blades can handle tough mixing jobs. Variable frequency drives and tank baffles are available where needed.

Tank properties

Mix tanks are manufactured from medium density polyethylene with U.V. inhibitors. Standard tanks can handle liquids up to 1.7 SPG. Thicker walls are available as specials. Standard tanks are natural colored (white, translucent). Special colors (green, yellow, blue, and black) are also available.

Chemical resistance

Polyethylene offers a wide range of chemical resistance. Coated blades and shafts are available where needed. Stainless steel motors and gearboxes are available for corrosive atmospheres.

Sturdy steel stands are included to support cone bottom mix tanks.
